Hey, this is Beth. What we live for at Living Proof is to serve people the word of God. We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the word is alive and active.

We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God is going to speak through it. Thank you so much

for giving us this privilege.

It's out of Hebrew chapter 11, verse 6. I'm going to read it in the NIV so that we can have a lesson

in contrast for a moment.

And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him

must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

But you and I have studied together for the last couple of times and we'll highlight this

again tonight.

It cannot possibly mean that all we have to do is simply believe that God exists

We already know that the demons believe that. That cannot be it. And so our study has widened as we've looked in toward a little

better translation of this particular understanding in the King James version I'm going to have them

throw this up on the PowerPoint for us but without faith it is impossible to please

him for he that cometh to God must believe that would you say those two words he is and that he is a

rewarder of them that diligently seek him must believe that he is we are studying those two words he is because what we came to grasp the

very first night of study was this that it means that he is everything he says he is that he is according to his own

introduction of his own name in Exodus chapter 3 he is the I am that's, he is the I am, that's who he is.

And so you and I have learned a contraction together that means he is.

You'll recall with me that we studied the name Jehovah and it puts in

a capsule name the understanding of Exodus chapter 3 when he says, I am that I am.

And then we learn the contraction that is Jehovah,

but the contraction of that name is Yaa.
