And Jesus tells us that unless build our faith upon the solid unchanging rock of His Truth, our faith will come crashing down when the storms of life hit us. 1:04.3	into exploring God as our rock. I love the hymn that says, on Christ, the solid rock I stand.
1:28.5	All other ground is sinking sand. And I just want to look at a few verses that talk about God being our rock and whether you're talking about Jesus Christ being our solid rock or God being our rock and our fortress and our refuge this is a theme you see all throughout scripture. Psalm 182, the Lord is my rock,
1:34.9	my fortress and my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. Psalm 62 too, He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.
1:42.2	Psalm 951, come let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us shout aloud to the
1:47.1	rock of our salvation. In 2 Samuel 22, 31 and 32, as for God, his way is perfect. The Lord's
1:54.0	word is flawless. He shields all who take refuge in him for who is God besides the Lord and who is
1:59.9	the rock except our God.
2:02.4	And then, of course, in the New Testament, we see this amazing parable where Jesus talks about
2:06.5	the wise men who built his house upon the rock. And when the wind and the rains and the floods
2:11.3	came against it, it stood unshakable and firm. There were a lot of years in my Christian life
