Tower, one of the godfathers of the Scottish, indeed, the entire

enlightenment, or if, depending on how we get on with our coronavirus conversation, I am still

fascinated by the question of coping with relatives who are subscribing to schools of thought that are bonkers.

I'm obviously referring to the sort of evolution of the idea that you could catch the virus

from a 5G mask right through now to the continuing claims that it's all nonsense.

And the curious conflation of that conspiracy with the so-called QAnon conspiracy, which you were telling me,

we should have been talking about more before my little holiday, and which over the course of the last fortnight,

I didn't follow the news quite as closely as I do during term time, but it seemed pretty clear to me that you were absolutely right.

We should have been across that

in a slightly more comprehensive way because as the popularity of the lies continues to grow,

the notion that you respond to the lies by ignoring them continues in my mind to diminish in

relevance. But the rule of sex, let's try to begin with something upon which we can all agree.

It's almost impossible in the current climate, but I think that we should still at least

strain to achieve that.

I think we could all agree that we would get the words right.

We would like to see the lowest possible number of deaths and or infections in the coming months,
