Welcome to Deconversion Therapy. It's Karen. It's one of two of your non-therapists here. So this is one of my solo ones that I do every once in

while, which is good, because this is some very practical, good information to know, but it's

also infuriating. So I'm the perfect person, because Bonnie, she's so laid back. And I'm a little bit like,

where do we buy torches and storm castles? But don't worry about that. For now, sit back and

relax, listen to my dulcet tones. But I am coming to you from the Bible Bell here in the South in the U.S.

I want to say hi to the people who are in Canada.

We have a lot of Canadian and Australian listeners and, you know, Commonwealth people sticking

together, listening to us, and we really appreciate it. And I love how people say,

well, I am in the, quote, Bible Belt of Canada or of Australia or of North, upstate New York,

or wherever it is. Like, everyone knows that there's, like, these patches all around. And it's scary. You know, it's not comforting

to see what it's going on out there. So let's just not. Just close your eyes. And we'll go from there.

I'm the one that you see as the quote face on our social media. Interesting enough, not on our Instagram. We have a logo there

and how many times people obviously assume any kind of agnostic ex-church stuff is being done by

usually white males is unbelievable. And we lost some viewers on Instagram a couple weeks back because I made

some funny memes about Taylor Swift, all harmless, no big deal. And of course, a real man.

You know who you are. You stayed. But some were like, oh, this woman, blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, you know, I'm a

woman, right? So we had a drop and people left, and I blocked some that were being rude. But it's like,

you know, it's losing weight eating cake. I still get to enjoy what I'm doing. And then the riffraff takes itself out, but it really goes

to show there are not many people that talk about these kinds of things that are women, that do

it consistently. And when we do, a lot of us hear that we should shut up.

But you guys are great, and we really appreciate your kindness and all those great things.
