We are packed tonight on I'm right. There is something I really want people in Washington, D.C. to understand.

I understand it because I don't live in Washington, D.C.

I don't hang out with political people.

I have friends and politics, of course, but I live in Texas. I hang

around normal people. It's who I talk to. My private life, that's what I do. People in Washington,

D.C. do not understand this very, very simple concept, and this is why I scream about it all

the time.

Americans can't afford things anymore.

And they remember what it was like to afford things.

It's not as if it's some distant memory so far in the past.

You can hardly see it. We just had a chart come out saw a chart this

week since january i want to make sure i read this since january of 2021 that's five years ago

cumulative inflation is between 23 and 25%.

Also, wages have been flat.

Now, there's an obvious reason why we have that inflation.

We don't have to go into that in any depth right now.

We've talked about it a million times.
