Hi, I'm Anonymous and I'm here to talk about my past abusive relationship with a narcissist.

What made you want to be here today talking about this?

Because that's not an easy thing to do.

Yeah.

So I guess I just learned a lot in the relationship and after it that made me realize that even I think myself beforehand never fully understood what it's like to be in an abusive relationship.

And I felt like it would be helpful to get part of my story out to help people understand that it's not as simple as it seems and to hopefully work on some victim blaming type things that go on when people are stopping

relationships like this.

Absolutely.

And I mean, I can't thank you enough for being here to talk about it.

I know we're going to get into it, but I just, I imagine it was, it's difficult to go through.

It's difficult to look back on but I'm sure you've

learned so much and I think the most beautiful thing you can do is share to help anyone else who

is going through it or who might not be in it right now but might end up in it because you didn't

set out to end up in an abusive relationship nobody Nobody does, but people do find themselves in them.

And getting out is, feels impossible.

Yeah, and I think that that's an important thing to kind of highlight is that it really can happen to anybody.

Like, you can't be too smart or too successful or too beautiful or to anything to avoid it because of how, I hate to say, how good narcissists are at what they do, but how good they are at

like manipulation and gaslighting and slowly increasing abuse to the point where like you don't

realize it's happening until it's really gotten to a point that's incredibly difficult to

navigate and get away from.
