It's so good to see you. I'm so grateful to be here with you all and grateful to join you for fun month.

I am literally the most relaxed person in the world right now. I've been on sabbatical this entire month and join my family traveling and it's been great. I'm so rested. I'm so refreshed.

Which means I'm so ready.

I'm so ready to preach.

This is fun month. I want to calibrate your thinking for this day. This is going to be one of them churchy days.

Think of your best churchy day growing up. I feel like this has that energy to it.

I feel like that good churchy energy. Grace and churched us. That was all the confirmation I needed. If I wind up hooping or moaning or tuning up or any of that stuff, just go with me.

If you don't know what any of that means, just fake it. In next week, you'll be back to normal. If you have your Bibles, I want you to go to the Gospel according to Saint John chapter number 11.

There you will find my assignment for today. I'm starting from the 34th verse, which means that I'm leaving a lot out in terms of reading. I will actually go back to give you context to verse 1 through 33.

So that 34 makes sense. But I want to read from verse number 34, reading from the new living translation of the Bible.

Here's what it says. Starts with Jesus's words in the form of a question.

Where have you put them?

That's what he asked them. They told him Lord come and see Jesus wept.

The people who were standing nearby said, see how much he loved them.

But some said this man healed a blind man. Couldn't he have kept Lazarus from dying? Jesus was still angry as he arrived at the tomb, a cave with the stone road across his entrance.
