0:46.4	Charles Drew University President David Carlisle but before I do I wanted to talk about something that has been bubbling up
0:55.0	under the surfaces that some people are not paying attention to but it's about
1:00.2	black folk in COVID-19, specifically the COVID vaccine.
1:06.2	So let's try first to level set.
1:09.4	I think soon to be Vice President Harris summed it up when talking about how many of us feel about
1:15.6	President Trump's commentary on the vaccine. I will say that I would not trust
1:22.0	Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information
1:27.2	that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he's talking about.
1:34.2	I will not take his word for it.
1:35.5	He wants us to inject bleach.
1:37.5	No, I will not take his word.
1:39.4	I don't think we need to say much more about President Trump's views on a vaccine. All that said, my view of a vaccine
1:45.8	is that Donald Trump's opinion on the vaccine really doesn't matter. He doesn't matter because
1:51.2	the global effort to develop a safe and effective COVID vaccine is a global effort that extends far beyond President Trump.
