Summary

Our theme today at KKHI is a whole bunch of messes people are cleaning up.  Hawaiian Bros is a fast food chain that originated in KC and their Royals promotion of giving away free lunch when the Royals score 6 or more was just crushing their business.  So they've changed it.  It reminds me of the historic, high scoring Chiefs of 2002 and 2003 when I started the "Custard's Last Stand" Club that featured our radio sponsors giving percentage discounts equal to the points the Chiefs scored the day before.  Get this:  We even sold brand new cars for half price.  It was chaos.    Fresh off is appearance as fill in White House Press Secretary, Marco Rubio is now the odds on favorite to be president according to prediction site Kalshi.    A family gets a free pool and you won't believe how this happened.  A college women's soccer team gets beaten by a 13 year old boys team.   Golden Tempo won't run in the Preakness and that's a lame as it gets and the NY Times isn't going away any time soon.

Feels like today's podcast is one of those Clean Up on Isle 4 podcasts, not completely and all the way around, or maybe one of those clean out your garage podcast where you got a bunch of things laying around in there that need to go. You know, the little canister of the weed killer that only has about a quarter of an inch left in the bottom, and for some crazy reason, you kept it all winter long and it should have been thrown out before. We got to do some cleanup work here today at KKHI, and that's all this about.

We start with the dozens of emails that I received from many of you that your Spotify or Apple feed yesterday went all haywire on you, and you didn't get the latest episode.

You got a John

0:54.7

ROM golf episode from 2023 at the top of your feed. And then every podcast I've done behind that,

1:03.2

but not the previous three years worth of podcasts. Now, I'm touched that so many of you

1:10.6

decided to email me thinking I knew what happened or I had

1:14.8

anything to do with it or that I was capable of fixing it. That's awesome. That's honorable on

1:19.6

your part to think that I'm that smart. I'm not. I have to this point still, I have really no

idea. I contacted Podbean, which is my host site, and they put everything up every day.

1:32.3

The podcast goes to all the other platforms through Podbean.

1:35.1

It's a service that I pay a monthly fee for, and I have what's called an unlimited plan.

1:39.8

And they've informed me that my unlimited plan is limited.

1:43.3

There's a certain number of podcasts that I can have before other platforms will say that's too

1:48.2

many.

1:48.6

It's taking up too much space.

1:50.5

So apparently, whatever number that was triggered yesterday with Apple and Spotify, and they

1:55.6

deleted three years worth of podcasts on the most previous feed.

1:59.9

Some of you got yesterday's podcast.

2:01.8

Some of you didn't.
