I'm Dave Aaronberg, former state attorney from Palm Beach County, Florida, and current managing partner of Dave Aaronberg Law. I'm joined today by my co-host, Ashley Merchant, criminal defense attorney from Atlanta, GA, although originally from the Sunshine State. Hello, Ashley. Hey, how are you? I'm doing great. You know, I'm the Florida lawman, but I'm on the road today. We're heading to CrimeCon, and we're both very excited. We can't wait to meet people and talk about true crime. manslaughter, not exactly murder, but, you know, decent. And now he is ready to appeal. What's the deal? Yeah, so apparently his lawyers got a, you know, got some news that some of the jurors may have had second thoughts. And, you know, that's not that uncommon. But let's just kind of catch our viewers up on what happened in this case. So this is the case out in Hawaii where Mr. Koenig, he's a doctor, or was a doctor, I guess he's not going to be for much
