Summary

Ali Peberdy, retired motorcycle cop, has just returned from an eight week trip to Europe. Before she left, we spoke with Ali and she told us about some concerns she had, things like dropping her bike, going solo, age and breakdowns. Ali is back in the UK now and she has some stories to tell about the things she experienced on her trip, from the rude hotel receptionist to the mishap in the cornfield, and whether or not her trip concerns were valid. 0:00.0	A few episodes back we had Ali Pabridi on, a solo rider, heading off on a motorcycle adventure.
0:06.2	Now she'd done many other motorcycle-centric trips and years gone by, but she'd always had a friend
0:11.6	along for the ride, and they enjoyed the curvy roads and the new places and all the exploration together, and they also dealt with whatever came up together.

0:23.0	There was no Pillion and there was no friends that were allowed to ride with her on this trip.

0:30.0	So what it meant was that Ali Pebrity, in her 60s was about to do her first solo motorcycle trip.
0:37.0	And suddenly this confident ex-police officer with years of riding experience, some of it as a motorcycle cop, and loads of travel experience suddenly began to have some doubts.
0:49.0	And that fear, uneasiness that Ali was feeling was all new to her. This was not something she was used to.
