A few episodes back we had Ali Pabridi on, a solo rider, heading off on a motorcycle adventure.

Now she'd done many other motorcycle-centric trips and years gone by, but she'd always had a friend

along for the ride, and they enjoyed the curvy roads and the new places and all the exploration together, and they also dealt with whatever came up together.

But this time, this trip, this was different.

There was no Pillion and there was no friends that were allowed to ride with her on this trip.

She's going to talk more about that today.

So what it meant was that Ali Pebrity, in her 60s was about to do her first solo motorcycle trip.

And suddenly this confident ex-police officer with years of riding experience, some of it as a motorcycle cop, and loads of travel experience suddenly began to have some doubts.

And that fear, uneasiness that Ali was feeling was all new to her. This was not something she was used to.

While she did the trip and she returned and this conversation today is just after she returned home.

We talked about her packing, her fears, what went wrong,

and some did go wrong,

whether she'll ever do it again

and how this trip has changed her.
