I'm going to jump into some teaching tonight, but I'm going to read a couple of writings first.

But tonight I want to talk about the ultra-personal, having an ultra-personal cosmic theology.

And I want to deal with some of the tension between those two things.

An ultra-personal theology or a cosmic theology, we need to exchange for an ultra-personal yet

cosmic theology.

All right?

To have a cosmic theology without understanding the personal importance of intimate engagement

in union can miss you and I becoming the image bearers that could actually provoke the cosmic reform.

Equally, to be neurotic and think everything is about your personal relationship with God,

and it has nothing to do with the rest of the world, has also, by way of words like destiny,

which is a terribly misused word in the church, words like destiny

has kept us from really becoming the people that are the body of Christ.

Anybody who has a problem with the teaching of theosis would also need to have a problem

with any teaching regarding you and I being the body of Christ.

Because that's a transformation into his image and likeness by way of being his body with Christ being the head. Us also then

having the mind of Christ. And so one of the, some of what we're going to jump into tonight is how

I believe we get from where we are to Isaiah 65, which is a next step in the

process. Isaiah 65 is not the ultimate step. It's not the ultimate landing place. That's not my

beatific vision. The Vigio beatificca is a beautiful vision of the future.

And my Biotic vision or Vio Biotifica does not stop with Isaiah 65, but we've got to pass

through Isaiah 65 in order to get to 1st Corinthians 15, where Yeshua comes to finally deal
