If you would, you guys, let's read this together, a new section of Scripture, Romans 6, verses

12 to 23, 12 to 23, and we're not even going to get close to, verse 12 probably, we'll

see.

But we'll read it together, I'll do the even-numbered verses.

If you'll pick it up and read the odd-numbered verses, Romans 6, Paul's Magna Carta to the

church, and nice and loud.

New King James Version Bible, please, if you don't have that, look through the screens.

But here we go.

Romans 6, verse 12, therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey

it in its lust.

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.

Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's

slave whom you obey whether of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness.

Verse 18, and having been said free, listen to this, by the way, as I read this, look

at the past 10th statement, they should encourage you.

And having been said free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Verse 24, when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.

But now having been said free from sin and having become slaves of God, you have your

fruit to holiness, and in the end everlasting life.

And all God's people said, amen, you may be seated church.

So the title of this message in this series that will begin to dissect this lengthy portion

of scripture, and we must stay true to it, by the way, we had to read it the way that
