Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode here at the Damage Report. Today is a Tuesday.

And while the news is as tragic as you would expect on any random day chosen in American

recent political history, what is exciting is our guest because joining us for the first time,

not overall, but as a co-host, Amanda Wynn, civil rights activist joins us on the show. Amanda,

how's it going? Going, going. But I'm excited to be here. Thanks for having me. It is going.

So I'm very excited to have you here. You know, you appeared on the show just a couple of weeks ago

on a talking about a subject that we're going to be talking about on the show actually, but

for people who might not be familiar with you from that, can you tell the audience a little bit

about your work? Yeah, totally. Now I'm a civil rights activist. I run an organization called

Rise. We accelerate civil rights movements. Essentially, we help train community organizers who

are going to whole host of issues. Sexual violence is a large part of our work and recently anti-Asian

hate crimes. Exactly. And obviously, incredibly timely there. Also, I learned recently my research.

Nominated for a Nobel Prize, correct? Yes, that's right. See, if that was true of me, it would be

in my lower third on the screen. It would replace in my Twitter. It would just be once,

nominated for, but you're very humble about that. So appreciate that. And you taking the time out.
