known as Prince. Good morning, Prince. Hi. When you talk to our Protestant brothers, you always

mention the praise. I never said you stole money. I tried to understand it, but I cannot get it.

So here's the backstory print.

So I was working at Catholic Answers at this time, and it would have been early 1990s,

so probably 92 somewhere in there.

And I was speaking at a parish in North County, and there were two

Calvinist Protestants who were there, two guys. And when my talk was over, it might have been during

the Q&A period, as I recall, and one of them came to the microphone in front of the whole group

and said, everything you've been saying here tonight is untrue and

unbiblical. And I, you know, I realize I can't challenge you to a debate right now because the event

is almost over. But would you be willing to sit down with my friend and me and we can explain to you

why what you said is untrue or unbiblical? And I said, hot diggedy, yeah, let's do it. So I called my wife and I said, honey, I'll be home a little later than expected because of these guys who want to sit around and talk. And she said, yeah, that's fine. So we went to a Denny's and we're sitting in the booth. They were on one side and I was on the other.

They had their Bibles open in front of them. I had my Bible open in front of me. And they said, well, you know, typical Catholic, you're teaching things about, in this case, I was talking about Mary and you're teaching things that are unbiblical. And I said, oh, like what, for example. And they said, well, you know, I don't remember exactly. It's probably like, well, you believe that Mary didn't have any other children after Jesus. So I said, oh, yeah, let's talk about that. So I opened my Bible and I started quoting passages to them, and they quickly shifted from your teaching things that are not in the Bible. And because I was quoting from the Bible, they then switched to, well, you're misinterpreting that. And I said, no, I'm not.

And they said, yes, you are. I said, no, I'm not. They said, you're taking that out of context.

I said, no, I'm not. You are. And they said, no, we're not. You are. And I said, no, I'm not. You are. And they said, no, we're not. You are.

And I said, no, I'm not. You are. It was just ridiculous. But what they wanted and expected me as a

Catholic to do is to just sort of backpedal and accept their erroneous premise that I was taking

these passages out of context. I just simply didn't accept their premiseroneous premise that I was taking these passages out of context,
