thankful. Anyways, I'm going to jump in. It says this. Prayer is abandoning my righteousness,

emitting my need for forgiveness, and resting in the grace of the

cross of Jesus Christ. Luke 18, verse 9 through 14 says, he also told this parable to some who

trusted in themselves that they were righteous and treated others with contempt. Two men went up

The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus, God, I thank you that I am not like other men,

extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week.
