with a quick glance in the rearview mirror. I call the end

the next show there. And isn't Lindsay Hoyle, doesn't he sound like an absolutely lovely bloke?

I'm always very, very, very wary of offering up public praise and admiration for politicians

about whom I don't know a great deal because it often presages a bombardment of historical

offences that they've committed against various sensibilities.

But I'll take that risk on this occasion.

There's a humanity there, wasn't there, and a lightness of touch that is desperately needed

at these times from prominent political figures. Four minutes after

ten is the time. That might be the last nice thing I say on today's show, because we turn

our attention first and foremost to a story that I feel has been bubbling away quite violently
