BBC Five Live. Before we get into the madness of another term of Brexit

cast and we have plenty to discuss, I just wanted to briefly reflect on the death

this week of Rachel Bland, absolute. Still, what of Five Live and I reflect it in

the last few months I presented Five Live Drive sitting alongside her and to

sit alongside someone who knows that their life is very short and yet can

discuss the trundles of day-to-day news which so often are, in the big picture,

seem pretty trivial and do three hours of interviews like that

was really quite striking as well as the work that she did with Yumi and the Big

Sea, the other Five Live podcast that's been sitting proudly at the top of the

charts this week. So Brexit cast this week is for Rachel and in the spirit of her

approach to her podcast and indeed to her broadcasting on Five Live we'll get

stuck in and try and be accessible and explain what's going on and

space for laughs and humour and all the rest of it. She'll must go on. Indeed.
