Well, ladies and gentlemen, midterms are right around the corner. And you're probably thinking yourself, isn't it a little bit early to be talking about this? Yes, it is. However, there have been some very interesting developments that are, shall we say, a bit unusual, which could give us some indication of how the midterms will go. Now, it's important to talk about this because all it takes is a couple of seats in the House, few seats in the Senate, and all of a sudden, everything in Washington, D.C. grinds to an

absolute halt. And I don't mean the halt that we're typically used to with respect to the D.C.

grind. I mean, it's done. Trump is not going to be able to do pretty much anything else. If he loses

the Senate by one seat, if he loses the House by one seat, I promise you, they will vote in lockstep to ensure that nothing else happens with the agenda. Plus, they'll probably start launching investigations against him. Again, this is just what happens. So understanding the midterms is important, especially the things we're going to talk about. So we're going to do up today is we're going to frame up kind of the landscape of what's going on, why we think it's important.

We're going to go ahead and discuss it from the various perspectives of the Republicans, the Democrats, some of the pollsters out there that are making predictions. And then finally, we're going to give you our conclusions and analysis. and as is tradition.

I'm going to force everyone to make wild predictions

way too early in the game to

come back and see who was the most right of all of us. Last time, my beautiful bride, Tina,

Queen of the Bees won the prediction contest because she predicted in March of last year that

Joe Biden would not be the nominee. And Christian and I both looked at Tina like, oh, there's no way that could happen.

And we were wrong.

And we had to sing the Tina was right song because you were right, babe.

Yeah.

It was right.

And it happens so rarely that you'll tell me that I'm right that I just have to like,

I just have to soak it up. That isrue that is untrue and then of course along

with my beautiful bright Tina Queen of the Bees we have our resident historian

political prognosticator the Oracle of Virginia the guy that is right way way

more often way more often than just about anybody else predicting these things

You didn't need to gas me up that much. Oh, no. If you get it wrong, you're fired. Although my theory. A lot's writing on this prediction, Christian, like your job. My theory is that the reason Christian is right so much is that he changes his mind all the way up until the point back and forth. New data, honey, new data.
