Today's episode is, what do you do when a friend becomes ministry?

And in recent conversations with a student, we were talking about how friends can start to move from,

I really appreciate you to this is hard for me to

relate to you, oh no, you're calling. Oh, man. Today I want to kind of address like, what do you,

what do we think about? How do we approach that biblically? What's counsel that we would give

to someone who is entering into that new,

like, are you really my friend? Or is this like ministry and I'm supposed to love you and do good?

So what is a friend fundamentally? I would encourage you, go to the Bible, get your lexicon out.

One of the best ones is the Greek English lexicon of the New Testament, and that's B-Dag.

If you're familiar with that, B-Dag is usually like the New Testament standard when defining

Greek terms. Go define friend, and this is what B-Dag says a friend is, one who is on intimate terms or in close association
