So great having you with us. Enjoy the message today. I just want to encourage us all to open our hearts of compassion.

You see, sometimes we get so busy in life that we don't even notice the people around us.

We have jobs, we have families, we have chores, responsibilities, and sometimes those things

can keep us so focused on ourselves and what we need to get done that we forget about the people around us.

We don't understand that maybe they need something from us.

And God wants us to open our heart of compassion, to see through the eyes of this compassion

and see what the people around us need.

See, God wants to flow through us to other people. He wants to use us as an instrument of love.

He wants us to be the hands and feet of him right down here on this earth. But we're never going to be that

until we begin to understand this feeling that God wants to put in us so that it can flow out of us.

It says in John 317, if anyone sees his brother in need and yet closes his heart of compassion, is the love of God

in him? Question mark. You see, this scripture says we all have a heart of compassion.

And it indicates that this heart this chamber that God wants to work through can either be opened or it can be closed it can be shut off

and as a result of it being shut off the love of God cannot flow out of it.

We don't recognize what God wants to do through us.
