And there's one commonality we see in a lot of these cases. When it comes to dealing with

unknown forces, some people turn to their faith for answers. It's that trust in a higher power that gets through the moments we simply just can't control ourselves.

Which is why many people go to priest or other religious leaders for answers in these situations.

And I got to say, that makes total sense to me because I am a person who is deeply rooted in my faith.

If you believe religious leaders really do have a connection to the spiritual realm,

or even if you don't, desperate times call for desperate measures, right? But let me just ask you this.

What happens when the spirit you're trying to exercise was once a man of faith himself?

Well, that's what the Pritchard family was dealing with in England back in 1966.

Following some pretty intense paranormal activity, they began seeing a figure lurking in their home,

one they could only describe as a monk in a black hood.

The events were so unsettling

it was deemed one of the most haunted houses

in Britain,

and the history behind the monk who was possessing it

seemed to be equally as disturbing.
