Hi there, I'm K-Town, and on this edition of Mysterious Radio.

My background is in, I guess, archaeology and folklore studies.

And I've always been really interested in storytelling

and the way that people kind of experience the world

and then share those stories.

And I've always been drawn to people's experiences

with the supernatural and the unexplained.

So my interest in it goes back to my childhood.

I was always really interested in unexplained phenomenon,

loved a good ghost story, and then as I progressed

through my academic and professional career,

I really gravitated towards that kind of study

of people's reactions to the unexplained.

And then 20 odd years ago, 1997,

I was a graduate student studying folklore

at Memorial University in Canada,

way up in the Northeast corner of Canada.

And I started a ghost tour business,

leading people through the foggy haunted streets

of St. John's, Newfoundland, and from there,

you know, it just kind of exploded all the work
