Thornton, Colorado is known as one of Denver's largest suburbs.

To its residents, Thornton is simply a beautiful area with open space and parks, just like any other place.

But in it, lies a stretch of 11 miles of a winding road that has gained recognition for being one of the most haunted roads in America.

Little research is available, but I will present you a few of the stories that have made

their rounds as legends, along with some facts behind the most famous story of Riverdale

Road.

The sun was about to set as she looked for her running shoes.

The racing season was over, but Upkeep was one of the things her trainer warned her about,

and if she skipped another day, she could forget about the goals she had sent for herself.

It was dark when she was on her way back.

She was still going strong, but as she worked her way around one of the final curves of the winding road,

she saw a pair of headlights and then everything went dark.

Forever.

That area is now known as Jogger's Hill.

Today, when you drive around the roads at night and pay attention to your surroundings,

you can see the spirit of a woman who runs along the road.

And if you pay closer attention, you'll hear the taps against your window,

telling you to please slow down and to watch out for runners.

The number of accidents that happen on Riverdale Road may explain the feeling paranormal investigators feel as they walk around it.

Dozens of fatal accidents have claimed the lives of people who try to go through it and its many turns,
