On these shows, the ghost centers go to a leisurely haunted locations. They wait until nightfall,

run around in the dark, wave electronic gadgets, and shout at the spirits to manifest themselves.

But how similar is what you see on these shows to actual paranormal investigations?

And how much of it is just hyped up reality TV nonsense?

Well, today we'll be speaking with an actual paranormal investigator and pulling back the curtain

on how real investigations proceed. In particular, we'll be talking about a haunted house

in Marin County, California. So what do real parapsychological investigators do?

What kind of things do they encounter? And what surprising things were discovered about this house

in Marin County? That's what we'll be talking about on this episode of Jimmy Aiken's mysterious

world. So Jimmy, who are we going to be talking with today? His name is Lloyd Auerbach,

and he's been a paranormal field investigator for over 40 years. I've read his books,
