Summary

"The face of the woman inched towards her own as if it would soon open its mouth and devour her. Beatrice closed her eyes and began to pray..." A quote from today's first tale - the exploration of the possibility that perhaps some apparitions are not the remnants of the once living, but the psychic projection of the still alive. Was a Cornish woman named Beatrice somehow presented with a vision of an evil encounter that had never happened but would years later? Our second story is the tale of Kentucky's Carl Pruitt, the "Chain Strangler." Urban legend or real revenant? A mixture of both? If a ghost can go bump in the night, or turn off a light, or move items around a room - can it also kill you?  Please send your stories to mystory@scaredtodeathpodcast.com (we will start reading some in future episodes). Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened.  Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH.”
