Hey Nick and Edy.

I have a story for you.

When I was younger, my family and I moved quite a bit.

I have lots of memories of the different houses,

but I have one memory in one house that always sticks out while listening to your stories.

It was a second house I ever moved into. Nice, little suburb in a pretty good town.

One day I was talking to my mom about the second house.

She said, you know there was a ghost living in that house.

And she tells me this story.

Your father and I moved to that house two years after you were born.

It was normal, but I started noticing weird things, like you in your high chair, crying.

Before I could come into the room, you would stop and start laughing, like all babies babies do but there was nothing there that I could see making you laugh

sometimes after doing laundry in the basement I would see a dark figure at the top of the stairs

it never scared me or made me feel uneasy. It was just out of the ordinary, so I brushed it off. But one summer night, your father and I went to a neighbor's house for drinks. I started talking about what's been happening.

Your father said, that's weird, I've seen the dark figure too.

Our neighbor, Dave, looked at his wife and said,

should we tell him?

So Dave starts, the person that lived in your house before you was a nice native

girl. She lived there for about a year. Then she committed suicide at the top of the basement stairs.
