And so there's also a term called body acceptance and body neutrality that's becoming

I think that a lot of us are striving for because it also feels unattainable for a lot of us

to quote unquote love our bodies all the time.

About two-thirds of American adults are classified as overweight or obese.

So it may be unsurprising that in 2019, the weight loss and diet control market was valued at around $78 billion.

Even as we work to change our bodies, many Americans, like me, are also fighting the stigma that comes with being classified as fat.
