Hello and welcome to another special lockdown edition of Full Disclosure,

a podcast project originally conceived to let me meet and spend time with people that might ordinarily be quite difficult to

access. Obviously, things aren't quite working out like that at the moment. I am, however, delighted

to tell you that my guest this week is Hassan Akad, who may not be a household name in many households,

but has achieved rather more in the context of the coronavirus crisis and indeed the, what would you

call them, the deceptions or certainly the disarray that's typified Boris Johnson's government.

We will get to that towards the end of the interview.

Hassan is the man working currently as a hospital cleaner who called upon the Prime Minister to reverse

the policy that would see his relatives receive nothing in compensation, were he to die

from the infection that he contracted in the hospital, while doctors and nurses and other healthcare

professionals would have seen their kin properly rewarded. But we should begin, Hassan, at the beginning.
