I'm your host, Dr. Chris Martinson here again with Paul Kiker of

Kiker Wealth Management. Hey, Paul. Good to see you again. Good to see you as well, Chris. Good to see

you as well. Well, we were just, before we hit the record button here, obviously touring the state

of the world, lots of things going on out there that I think they have to be looked at sort of

cohesively because, you know, there's markets, and we're here to talk finance and markets,

but those themselves are linked to what's going on politically as well as socially. And boy,

there's a lot of volatility going on out there across all those dimensions. And so Paul, today I want to talk about some things.

I want to talk about volatility, liquidity, and also silver and gold, obviously.

And part of the reason I wanted to do this was last week, a lot of attention on gold and silver and what happened there, right?

But it was beyond that, because it was copper and platinum and pladium,

and then oil, and also stocks, but they got rescued pretty quickly, but also currencies. Here's the

point. We've been talking about the carry trade. We've been talking about that we have this large

system of financialization, which is making money with money, and that these things, like all things do, come to an end.

And I'm a little worried that we're going to look back and look at January 26, 2026 as the day
