I'm Shane Morris, host of the upstream podcast and one of the writers here at Breakpoint.

I'm joined today by John Stone Street, president of the Colson Center and the voice of

Breakpoint.

And we're here to answer your questions.

John, several of today's questions are actually about having a conversation

and how we speak well and convincingly with others. So I'm excited to get to that because it seems

deeply practical to me. The New Testament focuses a lot on being ready to give an answer and

letting your speech be seasoned with salt and grace. But as we begin here, we're really going to focus in on the story of the month,

or at least the historical commemoration of the month,

and that is the 20th anniversary of September 11th.

We've got two questions that sort of have to do with that and the ongoing significance.

And we answer these, of course,

in light of a breakpoint this week's special edition that we aired and posted up on the podcast.

And that was actually kind of a collection of Chuck Colson's commentaries in the immediate aftermath

of 9-11. He had a lot of interesting insights

and just profound observations

that I think were deeply relevant to the church

and our society at that time,

but have continued relevance on an ongoing basis.
