Hello and welcome back to the WTF1 podcast with your usual host,

Haymugis, James Koker and today we're going to be talking all about

the American Grand Prix in Texas which I thought was an absolute banger.

I really thoroughly enjoyed it that might have been down to the the place that I was

watching I was watching it in a sports bar with a lot of other

F1 fans and I thought it was I think having an enjoyable race like that really

added to the atmosphere James you said last time you might not be able to watch it live because you might have been working at the time.

First of all did we watch it live? Secondly did you enjoy it? Well, it is lights out.

And away we go at the US of the Americas.

Yeah, I got to watch it live on television, and I did enjoy it. I thought it was a banger.

The only thing is, so I was at work. I was doing a shoot at sofi stadium which is where the Rams and the chargers play for my for for my job my day job and I was watching the Los Angeles Rams game from a suite but I wasn't watching

the game I was in a corner on a bar stool watching the race of my phone and then eventually

someone was nice enough to put it on a TV for me so I watched it on on TV in

like a suite at sofai Stadium, but I did not get to watch it with sound.

So I think, you know, there was, there were probably some elements of the race that I missed because I could only see the

visual elements of it.

Yeah, as well as, yeah, I just feel like not being able to hear the sounds of the race and the commentary and I typically watch on F1 TV and I think Alex Jakes and Julian Palmer do an excellent job calling the race.

I feel like I missed some of the vibes, some of the excitement, so I went and re-watched everything the other night, re-watched Sprint qualifying.

I got to watch Sprint qualifying in Sprint race at home,

but I went back and re-watched the Grand Prix.

And yeah, I agree. I think it was a banger. I feel like it was really exciting up top and then really exciting at the end and that maybe in the middle of the race there was kind of a lull because we had like established

this order and we can get into it later but as a whole I thought it was super solid.
