Kentucky hasn’t made the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament since 2019, and seemingly the entire Kentucky fanbase has turned against Calipari. But his buyout is massive. The Jimbo Fisher parallels are strong, right down to the amount it will take to fire him. Meanwhile, Oakland coach Greg Kampe, who has coached the Golden Grizzlies for 40 YEARS, notched his biggest win as a head coach. Not to be outdone, soon-to-retire Duquesne coach Keith Dambrot notched another one for the longtime veteran coaches as the Dukes upset No. 6 seed BYU. Gonzaga dispatched mid-major darling McNeese with shocking ease, and Oregon showed again that its a different team when healthy by beating No. 6 seed South Carolina. What fun will Friday bring?
