0:40.8	So first question, the book, I mean, if there's just a takeaway for people, our ancestors,
0:47.3	they thought biology was just something that happens.
0:49.9	You get born somehow.
0:52.5	Now suddenly our one little group of monkeys
0:55.6	who climb down from the trees,
0:57.8	suddenly we have this ability to read,
1:01.1	write, and hack the code of life.
1:03.5	Like these superpowers that we've imagined
1:06.3	are gods having to create life,
1:09.4	to change life, to extend life. to extend life, suddenly we have it.
1:14.6	And it's going to fundamentally transform so many aspects of our lives, not just health care,
1:20.6	but the way we make babies, the nature of the babies that we make.
1:25.6	And ultimately, our evolutionary trajectory as a species
