Good morning, three minutes after ten is the time.

I am aware of being a little dull sometimes, possibly even of being repetitious, but I'm

still reeling from the shock of flirting with the idea of, I know what you're thinking, where's James

gone? He's about to start talking about cars at the top of the show. He's never talked about

cars at the top of the show before. But I was just listening to that bit in the bulletin about

a massive increase in charging points, and there probably still won't be enough. And I still haven't quite got over the shock a couple of weekends ago of accompanying Mrs. O'Brien to the, is it

called a car shop? Keith, is it called a car shop? We went to the car shop and tried to buy a car, an electric car. And we found one that we liked. And so we said, well, that's okay. And we, you know, made all the usual inquiries. And then said, when do you think it'll be ready? I don't know whether I'm completely ridiculous. Obviously, in some ways I am. But I thought we might be able to drive at home. Is that

unreasonable? If I go to like a potato shop, I can take the potatoes home. If I go even to a

computer shop, I can take the computer home. There's almost every shop in the world that you walk

into and buy something that is on display in the shop and then you take it home with you.

Apart from a state agent, as Keith quite rightly points out, but that's a fairly silly observation,

Keith, because you don't actually have a massive aircraft hanger full of houses that you

walk around, do you? And so, I like that one. Could you, does it come in blue?

So I accepted that because obviously we might not buy the actual car that we saw, we might want to add some alloy trims.

Is that still a thing? I remember that phrase from the 80s. We want to add some alloy trims or possibly some electric windows.

Get some electric windows. Do you remember that advert? Or am I really showing my age?

And so I said, when will it be ready? When we'll be I really showing my age? And so I said,

when will it be ready? When we'll be able to pick it up? And the chap said, perfectly lovely chap.

Volkswagen it was. It was, do you know what I wanted to buy? It's a brilliant car simply because

my parents come from Yorkshire and it's called an E-Up. It's called a Volkswagen E-Up.
