reluctantly crouched at the starting line engines pumping and thumping in time the green light flashes the flags go up churning and burning they yearn for the cup they deftly maneuver and muscle for rank fuel burning fast on an empty tank reckless and wild they pour through the turns their prowess is potent and secretly stern as they speed through the finish the flags go down the fans get up and they get out of town the arena is empty except for one man still driving and striving as fast as it can the sun has gone down and the moon has come up and long ago somebody left with the cup but he's driving and striving and hugging the turns and thinking of someone for whom he still burns he's going the distance he's going for speed

We're talking about the defense, cave-on, trade talk, and we've been teasing it since before the season that we do on a mailbag.

We're doing our top 10 player list on the roster.

Grump, how are we doing?

Doing pretty good, Bobby.

The New Jersey Devils are the best team in hockey, and that's kind of the coolest thing going from you right now after this football team is just sort of falling apart.

But I'm doing good.

Middle of the week, ready to move on to next week for the 49ers game and, you know, hanging, hang in tight with this team.

I don't think I'm as down overall as everybody else's.

I think I'm a little bit more big picture.

I'm pretty down because my view is on the big picture instead of being living and dying with each game. Like I'm like,

this is, and I hate to say this because I'd be like, oh, you know, the smart thing to do,

they get people off. Like, this season is, as they're going to figure it out. They're

going to go on a winning streak. Or as others would do, we'd be like, hey, let's just talk about firing everybody and why everyone's an idiot and all that. Where it's like this middle part of a two and six season, I'm like, I'm not moving on to just nonstop big picture talk, but also talking about games on an individual basis.

People don't

enjoy that as much but we're going to do it and we're going to do it for the people because we're

here for the people by the people and here are some people that i like these people and we got
