It is time for high-wire.

I've got an amazing show today.

We're going to go to the Incidents in Harvey and show you a story you have not heard.

But first, a story you can't believe.

Get this.

Patriots pay refs to attend players in full lunches.

So apparently refs made up to $30,000 per referee.

They got travel expenses, trips paid to Tahiti and Abiza by the New England Patriots.

And some of them got contributions to their pensions up to $95,000.

Now apparently what was happening here is I guess during their training camps coming into the new season,

Bella Check brings the referees of the NFL into speak with his players and talk about the rules and give them some tips on how to get in and out of the rules.

Bella Check is quoted as saying,

I want my players to know in and out to the rules who better to teach them than the referees themselves.

Think about that.

Paying referees, you would imagine that would be illegal.

How the heck does that not end up affecting how the game is being judged?

And they were asked just that.

One of the referees actually said this.

I received a fee.
