all had a meaningful Memorial Day. I often think hard about Memorial Day because it really reflects on the great courage that so many Americans have had, the home of the, you know, free, the home of the brave.

It's so important. I've never understood why in the United States Memorial Day is not sufficiently somber

and serious a holiday.

It's celebrated, obviously, by sales and by barbecues, and that's all fine.

But I think people ought to go more and more to the places of rest, the cemeteries, where American heroes are buried.

It's an important holiday, and I'm happy to have participated in it.

I myself went and looked at some of the cemeteries and where I am today, because you have to

remember the ultimate sacrifice that so many soldiers made. You know, it's true because I've been

in Israel many times on their Memorial Day, and their Memorial Day, everything comes to a hall. People visit

their friends who have lost people. It's a very somber holiday. It's the day before Independence Day.
