he started an agency with two friends which later became frog design.

Hartman got a lot of attention early on through his work at Bega, the German

Electronics Company.

He even got more attention a few years later through his work for Sony, which acquired Vega.

And he got the most attention in the early 80s when he designed the Macintosh SE.
