Summary
Oh what a week it was for Ohio State andĀ Brian HartlineĀ last week as the Buckeyes landed a trio of highly-rated wide receivers in consecutive days. First it was 5-starĀ Carnell TateĀ (the nation's No. 3 WR per the 247Sports Composite), then it was 5-starĀ Brandon InnissĀ (No. 2 WR) and wrapping up the three-day odyssey was high 4-starĀ Noah RogersĀ (No. 9 WR). That's a total of 14 stars in three days. Not too shabby. Hartline continues to prove he is the best recruiter in the country among all position coaches, and he spoke to NFL Network over the weekend about his recruiting philosophy. We will touch on that on today's show as well.
But what about defensive recruiting, you ask? Today's show will also take a look at a trio of 4-star defensive recruits who took official visits to Ohio State this past weekend. They include cornerbackĀ Kayin Lee, defensive tackleĀ John WalkerĀ and DT/DEĀ Darron Reed. The good news for the Buckeyes regarding each of them? The Dean of Ohio State Football Recruiting,Ā Bill Kurelic, has put in a Crystal Ball for OSU to land them. Doesn't mean the fight is over for any of them -- it's not -- but it's trending very well for the Scarlet & Gray.
