Hey brother Ben let's talk about Thestrels because they have a very weird set of powers.

For one they can fly insanely fast like Harry owns a firebolt and yet when he's riding the Thestral, he still thinks it's the fastest he's ever moved.

And like not for nothing, but Firebolts can go 0 to 150 in less than 10 seconds.

Plus, Thestrels have an innate sense of direction.

You can just tell them where you want to go,

and they can just take you there,

which is a skill I desperately wish I possessed.

Their tail hairs can be used as Wancors and in fact that is the very core of the

elder wand. But of course the signature thing they are known for is that they are

invisible to anyone who has not witnessed death.

Unless you are Harry who alone seems to be able to break this rule on several occasions

like when his parents die or quirral dies or when he kills the
