Hey brother, magical transportation is kind of a funny thing.

There are like a ton of different ways Wizards can use

to get from point A to point B.

Apparitions, brooms, Trains, Port Keys, Flue Powder, Cat Buses, and so on.

And all these methods might have their own individual purpose, like whether or not you're

traveling in a group, whether or not regulation isn't played. Do you have a license to

a operate? Do you have flu powder or a fireplace? In certain instances

especially for us non-magical folk might seem unexpected like how after the

first time Harry disapparates with, he says he thinks he'd rather stick to Brooms.

On the one hand, like, yeah, I get it, Brooms seem incredibly fun, and if I had access to one, I would be using it all the time.

With the key exception being, if I was actually trying to travel somewhere

a long ways away and could also operate,

because it just seems way faster.

Then apparition has its drawbacks as well,

like for one, you have to be licensed,

then you have to be of age to become licensed.

It also seems difficult to do, uncomfortable to do,

there's some significant skill involved and a

wee bit of risk.

Like you really don't want to splinge yourself.

But also, let's be real, are you kidding me, you need a license?
