How are you now? How tough has it been?

Yeah, it's been tough.

Harry Maguire, football's most expensive ever defender, has established himself as a central

figure for both club and country. But last week, the Manchester United stars Holliday

on the Greek island of Mikanos descended into scandal when he was arrested following an

altercation with police and spent two nights in the cells. A court then found him guilty

of assaulting and abusing the police and attempted bribery, and he was given a suspended sentence

after a trial on the neighbouring island of Siros. His legal team successfully lodged

an appeal against the verdict, and in accordance with Greek law, this nullifies Maguire's

conviction, and there'll be a full retrial in a more senior court. Since the verdict

was announced, the £80 million defender has kept a low profile at an undisclosed location

but now for the first time he's given his version of events, and he started by telling

me just how tough the last few days had been.

Yeah, it was really hard. It's not something I ever wanted to do again. It's the first time

I've ever been inside a prison. And yeah, it's been hard for myself, but I think probably

I was being a lot harder for my family, for the girls who was there that night and seeing

everything. Well, come to exactly what happened in the moment. The last time we saw you

was as you left court on Saturday, and as you know on Tuesday, we learned that you've

been found guilty. What was that moment like when you heard that the judges had found

guilty? Yeah, it was horrible. Obviously, it was such a quick turn around. It was incredible.
