Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

It is Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019.

My name's Harrison Smith, sitting in today and for the next little time period for David Knight, who is at home recovering from

his recent heart attack. We pray for him and his family. We thank you all so much for your

prayers for David at this time. You know, it's so important that I'd take a moment here just to

thank you for your prayers, thank you for your thoughts

for the support that you have given. I know it means the world to him, his wife, his entire family.

And because, you know, in times like this, with situations like this, with heart attack,

something so sudden and traumatic and unpredictable and something

that only is in God's hands. There's nothing you can do but pray in times like this.

Praying for David, I mean, this is a personal battle that he's having to wage, as well as for

the doctors who are taking care of him and who are the mechanism, who are the tools by which God answers these prayers.

And I was struck by an image that I saw that actually I put in the system there, guys, of a stained glass window in a church depicting a very modern scene of a surgical operating room.

And it seems so out of place with this medium, this artistic medium, usually reserved for the

ancient, the mythical, all these things. And you see a very modern modern technologically advanced scene portrayed and stained glass

seems wrong, it doesn't seem right, and yet why not? Why not honor these people whose lives are

dedicated to protecting life and putting forward God's will, which is the expansion of life and the enjoyment of life and the appreciation of life.

And again, we almost reserve the status of spiritual actors to the past, to saints and people who lived thousands of years ago,
