So welcome to Lemon Live at 5. As you know, yesterday we did sort of a special show because it was Labor Day.

And you know, Labor Day is usually people sort of relax and have the day off.

But I wanted to come on and talk to you yesterday.

So I want to come on and talk to you today and welcome you all back.

I hope you didn't have the Sunday night scurries on Monday night last night. So good evening. Welcome to the show where we talk to you,

where you, our subscribers, are really the people we who get to lead the show, sort of. So I hope you had a really wonderful holiday weekend. I really do remember I'm just getting over COVID.

You know, Labor Day serves as a very special marker in America. Yes, it recognizes the critical importance of unions, union workers, the people who have made sacrifices for this country.

And it signifies really the unofficial end to summer. But in American politics, this marks when presidential

campaigns enter the final sprint to the finish line. This is like actually when it begins, okay?

So after this summer of historic political tumult, the paths of the presidency for both

the vice president, Kamala Harris and for the former president Donald Trump this fall is becoming really much clear. Democratic Vice President and the Republican

former president, they're going to devote almost all of their remaining time and resources

to seven states. They're going to spend hundreds of millions of dollars targeting voters who,

believe it or not, have only just begun to pay attention to the election. And I know that because

I was out talking to people today with the lemon cam. And people are still undecided, some of them,

not many of them, but some of them. Their campaigns, though, they're going to try to focus their

messages on just a few key issues. Those issues will be the economy, immigration, abortion,

and democracy. Remember, a few key states and a few key issues. So it's going to be a heck of a mad
