Well, Kala Harris has made history once again.

Today, the Vice President became the first black woman and the first Indian American woman to earn a major

party's nomination after the DNC chair Jamie Harrison

announced that she has enough delegates to be the nominee. Now she'll

officially become the nominee when voting closes on Monday, which has got enough delegates already.

Vice President Harris called into today's virtual roll call to celebrate crossing

the threshold.

Later this month, we will gather in Chicago, united as one party, where we're going to have an opportunity to celebrate this historic moment together.

And again, this campaign is about all this

walk of life, every lived experience, and being fueled by our love of country knowing that we are prepared to fight for the best of who we are.
