Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm nearing the end of my second week teaching on harnessing your

emotions. And I tell you, I wrote a book on this about 30 years ago. This is a powerful

teaching and emotions are more than just a feeling. It actually is a driving force in our

life and sad to say most people let their emotions be completely controlled by what's happening

to them out there.

And if you do that, you are going to be an emotional wreck.

And that is not just to play on words.

That is an actual truth.

Emotions are the best of life and the worst of life if you let them get out of control.

Emotions serve a purpose.

They are given to us by God.

And even negative emotions have a function.

And it shows you that when you begin to start taking your attention off of Jesus

and you begin to start feeling fear, worry, care,

things like that, that is an indication to you that you need to refocus and put your attention

upon the Lord. It's just like Peter walking on the water. As long as he focused on Jesus,
