The 49ers are in line to receive the maximum number of compensatory picks a year from now in the 2024 NFL draft due to their significant net losses in free agency this year.

But have they really lost more than they have gained? Of all

the comings and goings, the best player in the whole 49ers free agents shuffle

might be the one who is coming to the team from their biggest obstacle in the

NFC no less. The NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles have lost a lot of

free agency too and their biggest departure is defensive tackle Jay von Hargrave who signed last week with the 49ers.

Jennifer, long weekend in Albany, New York. Have you ever been to Albany, New York?

I have not. How was it? I don't think I'll ever go back, but that's no knock on Albany, New York.

It's kind of a little out of the way to get there, but a charming little town, the state capital of New York, and of course I was there for the NC toA tournament and had myself a blast. A lot of fun, even though my team,

my St Mary's Gales, lost in the second round of the tournament to Yukon. It was still a lot of fun.

And you know what, to me, it kind of puts it

into perspective a little bit.

I mean, everybody, that's kind of a cliche but it you know we see the same people on 49ers trips all the time right and what there is is a sense of community like that we see the same people

They see the same people and there creates this this bond

when you're you know cheering for your team and so I mean obviously that's something that
