So basically, they looked at how much caffeine is in an espresso by volume

and how much caffeine is in a cappuccino by volume from Caffineero, Costas, Greggs, Pratt and Starbucks.

Well, huge variation. So if you take the espresso to start with, Pratt had the highest amount of caffeine at 180 milligrams,

and down at the bottom was Starbucks with 33 milligrams. that's less than half a cup of tea.

And then if you look at cappuccino, so a regular-sized cappuccino, the highest

amount of caffeine was at Costa that had five times more than if you bought it in Starbucks.

And interestingly, so at Costa, it was 325 milligrams in a cup.

And that's kind of over the average recommended amount of 300 milligrams per person per day.

So I tend to have one cup of coffee first thing in the morning and I make sure that it's a really good coffee that tastes great. Because too much, really, you know, it affects my sleep.
