the wild card edition of the weekly six-pack chefty it's great to be with you and we have a lot to get to Wild Card weekend. Everyone's excited. It's a don't-get divorce weekend. We got two college football games, one tonight, one tomorrow, two NFL games, Saturday, three Sunday, another one Monday. Like, I hope all you guys out there have been emptying the dishwasher, doing the dishes, taking a kid somewhere in the morning. like, let's figure this out here, some, you know, anytime flowers send them out there to your wife, your spouse, whatever. But before we get to those game chef, the biggest news of the week has to be John Harbaugh being available, parting ways with the Ravens. What can you tell us about that situation and where we are today? It's a move that completely shook up the coaching cycle.

And John Harbaugh is planning to wait until next week after Wild Card Round before he begins

his interviews.

And I think that essentially puts the coaching cycle on pause.

Now, teams can't conduct in-person interviews with coaches under contract, the

Vance Josephs, the Davis-Webs, the Cliff, well, Cliff Kingsbter is fired, the, I'm thinking

of the top coordinators out there, Anthony Weaver, uh, Clint Kubiak. We go on and on. They can't do face-to-face interviews

with these guys until January 19th. So really, the only person who could get hired before then

would be a guy like John Harbaugh, conceivably. And so the process now slows down. But I think in the end,

Steve Boshadhi just felt like it was time to make a change. It was stale. The last few years,

they couldn't get over the hump. And I know people are looking for something that's wrong.

What happened that he's firing him now? And sometimes that's just not the

case. Sometimes teams make changes. Jerry Jones moved on from Tom Landry. I know. New owner.

Mike Shanahan won two Super Bowls in Denver. The Broncos fired him after 14 years.

Jeff Fisher did a great job. Fired after 16 years. It Fisher did a great job, fired after 16 years.

It happens.
